Lovely funky boutique hotel, we loved the rooms, especially the comfy bed and the amazing shower!!!! Also fantastic soundproof rooms which were welcomed by a light sleeper. The only reason I have rated lower for value for money is that Norway is just soooo expensive, so anything seems expensive there! We would definitely recommend this hotel and we would stay there again.
The air con didnt work, or if it did, it didnt feel like it was working! It's hard to tell if it was on or off, I would suggest the hotel looks into this as it wasnt even that hot there and we were boiling in the room! The breakfast was good but on our second day we found that a lot of stuff had run out and wasnt being replenished - we filled our bowls with cereal only to discover both the milk and yoghurt had run out! Also the cutlery, juices etc had run out and I think that this is the sort of thing that should be kept topped up at all times.
Everything was fabulous, the price, location, and the staff who even managed to find us a room with a view!
The central location and the slightly funky edge.
I was very surprised by the lack of facilities at Comfort Hotel Square given the cost and the type of hotel it advertised itself as. There was no mini-bar, no room service and no access to beauty/massage treatments. I thought this was very poor for a central city hotel.
The breakfast. Both days I stayed at the hotel the staff started to take away the breakfast a long time before it was finished. The staff did not want to fill up the plates when it was empty.
Good location, coffee & tea in the lobby, fair breakfast
Nice and unusual design of rooms, good breakfast
small size of room
Room very modern, smart clean and comfortable. The location is great for a my business trip. Had dinner in the resaurant and standard of food was very good, though choice was not wide.
The room was a bit noisy, not sure what the noise was or where it was coming from. Had difficulty with the wi-fi connection, password given to me by reception didn't work, so I had to go down againand get a different one. No toaster available at the breakfast area.
Value for money. The hotel is very modern and looks recently built. It is located in walking distance to old town and city center.
Variety of food in breakfast buffet.
A nice designer hotel in the centre of Stavanger. Rooms are efficient, but very comfortable. Breakfasts are vast and feature lots of local food.
They did not have any black tea - the closest was Earl Grey - and thay had run out of that for breakfast.
It's quite new and has a nice style. Excellent lcd tv. Good breakfast but nothing sweet :-( Nice bathroom. Charming, perfect for young couples. Free internet in room.
Small rooms, no frigobar, lot of stairs to get to city centre.
Rooms are not comfortable, plastic chair etc
A great location with esay access to the main town by foot
the TV was good, and a nice shower.
Toilet paper was awful.
Nice design and staff very kind and professional
